Two Teaspoons | Goggs Road, Jindalee
We have just recently moved out of the Brisbane CBD, and among my travels (and Google searches) I came across this cute little place. Nestled in amongst a little precinct just off of the Centenary Highway is Two Teaspoons Café. And busy at that!
I arrived around 930 on a typical Sunday morning, and there wasn't a table spare - which is always a good sign to a Foodie... I can't stand empty cafes or restaurants. I just wont dine there full stop.
Ordering is up at the counter, which is fairly standard these days, but can be a little bit of a pane. Isn't this why we pay a surcharges on Public Holidays - service? I was a little put off by the condition of the menus. They were really badly crumpled and had oily thumb prints over the paper. Perhaps they might like to revisit the display of their lovely café selections.
Needless to say, our Eggs Benedict (with ham) came out in good time and was great value for money. The portions were massive and tasty too! My foodie friends had a Banana smoothie which was and I quote "the best they had had". Coffee was good and came out in lovely big mugs!
