116 Laneway Café & Bar | Main Street, Ipswich

This looks as sweet as it tasted! This salted caramel popcorn milkshake with a chocolate donut to top it off, actually exists!

We not only sat at this cute little shabby chic café with a sugar rush, but admired the overall funkiness of the café.

This cooling L-Shaped café is also a bar around the back. It has a uniqueness about it and something a little different to the other cafe's in the main street of Ipswich. The walls are lined with fairy lights, palms and other potted plants with the odd milk crate lined with astro turf. The barista is hidden away in black shipping container in the middle of the café which is home to those crazier than ever Milkshakes.

116 Laneway offers a menu from avocado on toast for a light breakfast, to something a little more substantial like a burger for lunch.

The only feedback I would give, would be about the coffee. It isn't the best and has been a little milky in the past. Needless to say, I have been back a number of times, it's not always about the coffee .... I just love the atmosphere and the Milkshakes are a must try!
